What Do YOU Want for Mother's Day

By Katy Agro Myers

Mother's Day is just a little over a week away and I'm seeing a lot of buzz about what moms really want to celebrate this year. In fact, my husband asked me just this week! I rolled my eyes thinking, "great, this is just one more thing I'll have to plan and figure out." Ya feel me?

I know, Mama. We are carrying SO much right now - juggling jobs, groceries, homework, the new post-covid life. Sports and planning vacations and summer camps. And you know what? We are BURNT out. Know what I want this year? I want someone to take something off my to-do list. Someone else to be responsible for just one thing. To relieve me of something that I'm carrying in the mental load.

I'm so very grateful to have Auckland Services, LLC in my life. Just last week, we were out of town for a soccer tournament. I left in a crazy hurry, behind on work, barely getting the suitcases packed. Not only did Auckland reset our home while we were gone, she even messaged me about a package out front. It just happened to be a food delivery that I thought I had canceled. Teresa not only brought the package in, she unpacked it and put it away.

Going above and beyond is what the Auckland Team does. It's not just about cleaning (although they are perfectionists when it comes to cleaning), it's about making life easier for busy moms. It's about going the extra step to clean out the pantry because it's such a mess things are falling out. It's about folding the laundry that's been sitting in the basket for two weeks because you haven't gotten to it. It's about looking at the things your household needs and making recommendations to make life just run smoother.

So go ahead Mama. This Mother's Day, give yourself the gift of time. Give yourself a chance to relax. Give yourself a chance to declutter and breathe again. And feel free to forward this article to the gift-giver in your life. Trust me, they'll love your gift too!
