We're Hiring! Work from Home with Arundel Kids

We have taken the first half of this year to really build Arundel Kids to be your single resource for all family fun in Anne Arundel County.

We need help!

We are looking for an Assistant Publisher to work closely with the two (very cool) publishers of Arundel Kids. If you're looking for an exciting, entrepreneurial opportunity to work from home and make a real difference for local families, this position could be a great fit.

This role allows you to work from home on your time. Slip in some work during nap time, sitting with your puppy, while binging Manifest and nursing, or sitting on your deck while the kids run through a sprinkler.

Arundel Kids is supported 100% by our local sponsors, so compensation depends on sponsors and projects. The Assistant Publisher will help the Publishers to:

-Research and enter local events

-Assist in the planning and hosting of events when applicable

The Assistant Publisher should ideally have the following skills and experience:

-Good writing and administrative skills

-Good understanding of social media, especially Facebook

-A creative, problem-solving, and detail-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box

-Comfortable with MS Office (esp Word, Powerpoint and Publisher), general editing graphics (in PicMonkey, PhotoShop or any other graphics software/website), and using Google Drive (or a quick learner)

-Entrepreneurial and enthusiastic

-Available to work part-time from home approximately 2-5 hours per week on a consistent basis
