Cool your kids off this summer by heading out and hitting a splash pad or water park! There are plenty within a short driving distance! Check out our list of splash pads and water parks near Anne Arundel County and get out and have some dripping good fun!

Outdoor Water Parks

Hurricane Harbor Water Park at Six Flags America the region’s largest waterpark. Ride the waves in an 800,000-gallon wave pool, or take the plunge on over 25 water slides! Explore three distinct children’s play areas for the little ones. Bring your bathing suit; the waterpark’s included in the price of admission.

Chesapeake Beach Water Park At just about 45 minutes away from Northern Anne Arundel County, the CBWP is a family-friendly destination featuring pools, slides, & waterfalls, plus private cabana rentals. Voted one of Maryland's Best Water Parks. Have a splashin' fun-in-the-sun time in their eight water slides, fountains, waterfalls, a lagoon, kids' activity pool, and more, guaranteed to treat everyone to a cool time.

Hopewell Mini Water Park, located in Hopewell Park Columbia, has an eight-lane pool with a large slide in the deep end. With a mini waterpark that includes a Splash Pad area, kids of all ages will have a blast while parents enjoy the various shade structures available.

Swansfield Mini Water Park located in Harper’s Choice in Columbia has a six-lane heated pool with a spray ground and a large slide serving up thrills in the deep end. Keep the fun going in the basketball courts and tot lot adjacent to the pool. Plus, enjoy the convenience of shaded structures, a landscaped plaza, a bathhouse, and a family changing room.

Indoor Water Parks

North Arundel Aquatic Center offers an 8-lane 25-yard competition pool and a leisure pool. The leisure pool is a zero-depth entry pool that includes three 20-yard lap lanes with an indoor water park. The water park includes a 134-foot water slide, splash-down area, water buckets, preschool water slide, vortex area, and poolside spa for adults.
