Holiday Train Displays in Anne Arundel County
By Katy Agro Myers
For as long as I can remember, trains have been a holiday tradition. And my boys-well let's just say, I think they are ALL Pop's train boys! They could help build and sit and play with Pop's trains all day long. This year, my dad built my boys their very own train display-they loved showing it to Santa last night.
Heading out to see the train displays in Anne Arundel County is something that is on our list every year! Here are our favorites in our community:
Marley Station Train Garden
Clayville Railroad & Train Display this one is outdoors and Santa visits a few times during the season. They also collect money to help a local child each year. 😍
Severna Park Model Railroad Club THIS WEEKEND December 4th and 5th
Anthony’s Christmas Train Garden Linthicum 300 block of Viewing Avenue check out the display through the window!
I asked the train expert in my family (my Dad) for a list of his favorite area train gardens that are worth the drive:
The Shops at Kenilworth
Jarretsville VFC
Fire Museum of MD
Wise Avenue VFC
Arbutus VFD
If you have any train enthusiasts in your house-or really anyone-these displays are so impressive-you won't want to miss them! Choo Choo! All aboard!
