Friend Bubbles & Vodka

2020, guys. Amiright? I don't mean to be a downer, but let's think about some of the events that we have endured over the last 13 months.

✓ Tiger King ✓ Virtual learning

✓ Capitol riot ✓ Working from home

✓ Mask-wearing ✓ Presidential election

✓ Cicadas

That's a small sliver, right? I mean, don't even get me started on Prince Harry leaving the royal family, Tom Brady winning again, or bitcoin. (Truth be told, I couldn't actually get started on bitcoin because I don't even get it.)

I think through all of this, we've all held onto something to keep us sane, right? Whether it was creating a new exercise routine, Zoom game nights with your extended family, or sticking with a "bubble" of friends to at least have friendly faces to see aside from the ones in your home.

For our family, the friend bubble was key, and we're lucky that the parents of our kids' friends are some pretty amazing people. We see each other several times a week, around the neighborhood and/or at the playground. Speaking for our group, after the year we've had, most of us look forward to a quick drink together. I found a new vodka on the scene, created by three local guys from Towson, that I brought to our most recent pow-wow.

I'd like to introduce you guys to Lytos Vodka, created to inspire a smoother drinking experience. I invited our friends to a taste test of Lytos and brought a variety of drinks to mix to cap off (yet another) a rough week.

As a group, we found Lytos to have an overall pleasant taste and smell. We detected a subtle salty taste to the vodka, but with the lime seltzer water we brought along, it complimented it nicely. We enjoyed the smoothness of the drinks, and the story behind it even more.

Sipping ice-cold Lytos while our kids played was just what the doctor ordered for this group of parents.
